Accidental Festival, in role Week 9

It has been quite the trip. We're looking at figuring out how to get extra equipment for our artists, trying to contact the head of lighting at our school is turning out to be a nightmare! Trying to get contact of Whitelight  company who has worked with Central in the past on projects, but if anyone has any stage electrics contacts who want to help out a student festival, let me know and I would be eternally greatful!

More updates soon as we're…

An Evolving Burlesque Meets Classical Ballet

On Tuesday, I decided to expand my theatre horizons and attend The New York School of Burlesque showcase at the Parkside Lounge located in the Lower Eastside of Manhattan. I was invited by dancer, Aurora Black, who was debuting her surprisingly original burlesque act for the very first time. There were several acts, each uniquely expressing the art of seduction. There was a cowgirl, a housewife, the…

Spice from Participatory Observation

Pages are left blank sometimes and it can take ages to fill them. Like the riddles caused by life. However when there is constant inconsistency in the rhythm of life then riddles tend to evaporate fervently leading one to  the seat of the Other. Sometimes being in the space of An-Other, all the  discussions in different lingual structure sounds  like mumbles. I scribe mostly in English language. Apart from all these regional, national and communal love-hate…

Adventures in Being (small) goes to Mexico

In 2009, I mindfully lost a significant amount of weight. I started fitting my body into spaces it could not previously fit. What started as an exercise in measuring my transformed body, has evolved into an art project titled "Adventures in Being (small)."

I have implemented "Adventures in Being (small)" in over 200 locations across the planet.  In late February and…
