Lala nomada (Gabriela Aldrete) was born in Guadalajara (Mexico) in December, 1982.
She studied drawing and painting until 2001 when she started her studies as art conservator/restorer (ECRO, Gdl.,Mex. and HAWK, Hildesheim, De.)
Between 2002 and 2005 attended courses of documentary photography (Prof. Nathan Montjoy) and film appreciation (UdG, Gdl., Mex.)
Between 2005 and 2007 attended courses of singing and voice improvisation with professors Lic. Luis Palacios (Mex.) and Eugenia Maranke (De.)
In 2006 started different improvisation and theater courses, mainly in the technique “Fooling” created by Franky Anderson (De.). From 2007 to 2008 took part of the improvisation theater group "Herz des Narren", Hannover.
Took part in the performance Sommercamps IPAH 2009 (Juergen Fritz workshop) and IPAH 2011 (He Chengyao workshop).
Also in 2011, participated in “In Context”, part of the program of the Performance Art Studies (PAS) of Johannes Deimling.
Since 2009 she’s been doing performances, individuals and in groups, in in Berlin, Barcelona, Mexico and USA.

This is really interesting work you're doing! and the investigation of materials. I have myself done a lot of investigations regarding my body in different contexts and materials - as structure-pieces (Primary photograpy and video works).
