Artomatico is the electronic music project of Daniel Muñoz (Madrid, 1970), musician, producer and sound engineer, graduated in Communication Studies in the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. After passing through various rock bands, founded Monotone, a spanish-british project, as a drummer and co-producer. He has also participated as a drummer in the discography of the English singer Emma McGlynn. In parallel, he worked as sound engineer for Spanish music figures, as well as composer for film and television works (link on IMBD).Since 1997 is at the forefront of online cultural projects online as Flamenco-world.com, where he also serves as photo editor and photographer (www.danielmpantiga.com). After several years of laboratory work with the machines, lights Artomatico, which combines improvisation with electronic machinery into the concepts and rhythyms of geners genres like spanish traditional flamenco.
In 2008 premieres in Barcelona the collaboration with flamenco dancers Rafael Estevez and Nani Paños, in the live project called "Ay", with the participation of percussionist, Nacho Arimany. This show is also programmed in the modern art center of Madrid, "La Casa Encendida in the same year.
In 2010 premiers the work "DANZA220V" in the main Festival of Madrid, Madrid en Danza, a team work developed with the dance company "Dospormedio", with Rafael Estevez and Nani Paños, plus guests artists, dancer Antonio Ruz and singer Sandra Carrasco
In 2011 composes the music for the contemporary dance work "OJO" by dancer and choreographer Antonio Ruz to be premiered in Madrid'd Festival de Otoño. Also in 2011 premieres de work called "Preflamencos" for the dance company "Dospormedio" . In this ocassion, the music is played live with room for improvisation, but with a script of music and dance.
