Ursula is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher based in Barcelona. Her artistic work proposes an intersection between early music, free improvisation, contemporary art and audiovisual language. She is devoted mainly to live art and video art, addressing issues such as gender violence and migration in her solo works. Úrsula is currently doing a Ph.D. in Art History and Musicology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Úrsula’s solo works has been shown in Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Switzerland and Argentina. She teaches workshops on artistic research and interdisciplinary creation in different institutions in Spain and Europe. She is a co-author with Rubén López Cano of the book "Investigación artística en música. Problemas, métodos, paradigmas, experiencias y modelos. Ursula teaches Modern Art History at ESERP Business School, and Communication at Taller de Músics (Barcelona).
