The guts company was founded in 2013.
The roots of the company come from the artist collective mind_the_gut, founded in 2010 by Johanna Roggan and Rebekka Esther Böhme.
"The gut feeling, which comes < from the gut > and is rumbling inside all of us, is to be found and expressed creatively."
The companys goal is to create contemporary dance pieces which don't just let the dancers move but touch the audience on a gut level.
The guts company works like an open network and is constantly looking for project-matching dancers, musicians, visual artists, stage designers and so on.
