Laura Corcuera (Zaragoza-Spain, 1979). Writer, journalist and performer. Founder and active member of the Board of Editors, of the newspaper DIAGONAL. Cofounder of LA SELECTA, coffee-laboratory of arts and science in the mountains of Madrid. She combines the scientific and cultural journalism with theater and performance. Founder and member of Cedepalo theater collective (Madrid). Her teachers are Jango Edwards, Peter Ercolano, Phillipe Gaulier, Eric de Bont, Esther Ferrer, Antonia Baer, Isaac Alvarez, Charo Francés, Encarna de las Heras, Susanne Linke and La Pocha Nostra, Lamong others.


2013-2014: Waitress, producer and cultural agent in LA SELECTA.
2012: Traslator of the French roman Bye bye Blondie (Virginie Despentes)
2011: Sabatic year in Ibiza and Danmark.
2007-2011: Coordinator and Editor in Chief on SINC (Servicio de Información y Noticias Científicas), the first scientific news agency in Spanish, which belongs to the National Science Foundation and the Ministry of Science in Spain.

2005-2007: Press officer of the National Museum of Natural Science (MNCN-CSIC), founder and editor of the MNCN Newspaper
