Konstantinos Symsiris is a Greek-born actor and trained in both Athens and London. His theatre practice has led him to work with International physical theatre and devised -theatre companies such as Studio Matejka and the Grotowski Institute in Poland and Blitz theatre group in Greece. He has toured nationally with Noir theatre group in Greece, and internationally with Studio Matejka in Poland and during his MA studies to the Ancient Messini Theatre Festival in Greece where he directed the greek tragedy ‘’Prometheus Bound’’ for the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Konstantino’s work and practice is focused extensively in text work , physical acting and devising theatre.He is trained in Meisner technique , Alexander technique, clowning , mask work and improvisation.
Konstantino’s training as an actor began in 2009 when he attended the three-year Acting (BA Hons) programme at Empros superior drama school in Athens, Greece. In 2016, Konstantinos resumed actor training at postgraduate level on the MA Theatre Lab at the Royal Academy of dramatic art. The course is designed to nurture and enable future leading theatre creators and practitioners.He has also been a part of Theodoros Terzopoulos International laboratory at Attis Theatre of Greece and had workshops with companies like Theatre de Complicite , Song of the goat theatre, Schaubühne Berlin and London international school of performing arts.
