I guess interventions probably is a vague term for this, but It’s meant here as happenings or other kinds of ‘meddling’ in the public sphere of the internet/online environment. It can also be the use of online space in performances, for more than just presentation or documentation purposes. In my case I’m writing an article about online art and I see the internet as a very performative ‘medium’ or tool for artists to use. My interest have then gone deeper, to include performances that are taking place online and uses social media, chat rooms, virtual and synthetic worlds etc. as performance tools. Where the physical and the online ‘space’ is both dependent on – and used – as equal parts in the performances.
I’m very interested in knowing more about the projects/performances you’ve mentioned and about your company. I think they actually fit very well into the use of both the online and the physical performance space as performative tools.
