Chiara Alborino (03/19/76- Naples, It) italian dancer and choreographer, trained in Italy and abroad. In 2006 she founded Danza Flux with the coreographer Fabrizio Varriale.
In 2008 she presented the choreography "About Zero" and "Border Defeated"in many festival of contemporary dance. She created in 2009 "Prospettive sulle questioni centrali", inspired by the text Desolation Angels by Jack Kerouac. In August 2010 she participated to the international artistic residency Movement T, Brest, France, and in the same year she took part in the 9th edition of the International Festival Danzalborde, Valparaiso, Chile, during the Universal Forum of Cultures, conducting classes of Release Technique / Floor work and laboratory of research with Fabrizio Varriale at the University of Pedagogy and dance U-Dance Arcis of Valparaiso, Chile.
Since 2008 she conducts workshops for improvisation and choreography working on the interaction between painting and dance inspired by the works of W. Kandinsky and researches through the dramatic reinterpretation of the work in dance of B. Brecht's "Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny." She actually teaches release technique and manages the organization of the activities of Danza Flux. In 2013 she takes part to the E45 Fringe Festival in Naples, with the production of Fondazione Campania Dei Festival with the project "Horse Boy in Apnea"with coreographies and direction of Fabrizio Varriale and with the collaboration of the italian regist Davide Iodice for the installation "Cavallo invisibile"presented in June in Museo Madre for contemporary arts of Naples and in March in Teatro Piccolo Bellini in Naples, Italy.

I am a New York City based choreographer who has been invited to perform my newest work at the LaMama Spoleto Open September 6th and 7th 2012.
