Performer, writer, dramaturg and director based in Berlin. She has an MA on Theatre writing and directing from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (London), and studied Literature and Creative Writing at University of London. As a performer she has trained with LISPA, John Mowat, Mick Barnfather (Complicite), Philippe Gaulier and SMASH Berlin.

Between 2008 and 2012 she worked as Programmer and co-director for CASA Latin American Theatre Festival. Other dramaturgy credits include Tangram Theatre Company (London), Idreman (Amsterdam), Alex Carrillo (Berlin/ Bogota), Enrico Wey (NYC/Berlin), Flight of the Scales (UK) and 'Once We Were Islands' (Berlin/UK). As a devising director, she's worked with Swedish Duo Scandimaniacs, performer John Hinton, Martin Auckland, Florencia Cordeu, Caroline Horton and Idreman.

She has also worked as creative producer and literary consultant at the Bush Theatre (London). As an educator she's worked with Kid's Company, Future Scripts, Skinner's Academy, Petchey Academy and Holloway Women's Prison (London).

She's currently developing work with her Berlin based company, Tucan Riot, as well as continuing her collaboration with other artists, such as Enrico Wey, Anton Unai, Alex Carrillo and Valerie Renay.

No Way Out

Stuck between highly taxed tampons and badly lit mirrors, three characters are trapped in a patriarchal purgatory. An act of dramaturgical punk; fusing dark comedy, the ridiculous and the tragic.

A mix of clown, story-telling and political rant, inviting you to laugh in the face of, ridicule, challenge and reconsider what it is to be a woman today.

No Way Out questions the overall creation of the female image and narrative and seeks to debunk…
