Ann Robideaux has been making dances since she was little in the living room, and more professionally for many years. She has dedicated most of the last decade to site-specific choreography having created work for historic lightships in Manhattan, audience seating at Dance New Amsterdam/Bushwick Star, pools of water at Galapagos and the Eldridge Street Synagogue and collaborations with Lightexture. Her choreography has also expanded to dance on film and was recently a feature for NPR's homage to Stravinsky's Rite of Spring. A co-director of The Outlet Dance Project Festival in New Jersey, she will be presenting a piece inspired by birds this fall of 2017 sponsored in part by Celebrate Urban Birds of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
