Independent Scholars – Let's join forces!

An Independent Scholar can be anyone with an university degree now reflecting upon performance from positions more or less outside the academic institutions, either in temporary positions (scholarships, external lecturers) or by way of their own choice (including practitioners).

Working as an Independent Scholar is usually very lonely business and getting funding for research and participation in the annual Performance Studies international conferences is difficult. It is among the aims of the Independent Scholars Committee to address such issues. By joining this group you become visible and can give voice to your needs and concerns.
