Event Description

Everything Starts from a Dot - Installation

This exhibit represents a small excerpt of a work-in-progress performance Everything Starts from a Dot in the style of a kinetic installation/automatic theatre. During the live performance, the objects are controlled manually by a performer; objects in this installation are controlled by pulleys and motors simulating the movement of the performer and choreography of objects. This work is developed in collaboration with an engineer Willie Gambucci.

“Everything Starts from a Dot” is supported by The Jim Henson Foundation Workshop Grant in 2017 and Production Grant in 2018.

The installation is exhibited as a part of SciFi theme art show Escape Velocity.
