The Yearlong format is ideal for students wishing to immerse themselves in the Laban and Bartenieff material in a full-time program. You will acquire a clear, comprehensive movement language that can be applied to a multitude of disciplines, sharpen your observation skills, enrich your research practices, and develop techniques for enhancing movement efficiency and expressivity. The structure of the program is well suited to students living in or commuting to New York City. Note also that the Laban/Bartenieff Institute is authorized to admit international students to the Yearlong Certification Program under the F-1 student visa category. Successful completion of this exciting and rigorous course awards the title of Certified Movement Analyst (CMA).
Format: half-day sessions, four days per week Dates: September 6, 2012 - May 17, 2013 Place: New York City
Time: Tuesday-Friday 9:30 am - 2:00 pm Pre-requisites: Intro to LMA, Intro to BF, Intro to A & K, written application and interview
